Swingset Parts
A swing set is made up of many swingset parts, some of which are large, but others may be very tiny. The large parts of a swing set are easy to see – the frame, the rope or chain and the seats. The many nuts and bolts required to keep the set together are tiny and are not easily visible at a glance. These tiny, hidden parts are essentially the main parts required to keep the swing set together and usable.
There are many varieties of swingset parts. The hangers for the swing come in different styles and sizes, as do the swings themselves. Swings can be made from rope or chain and the corresponding hangers required would of course be different. The seats for the swings come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. The braces for swing sets can also be made from various kinds of materials and come in different shapes and sizes. The extra components attached to the swing set, such as tire swings or monkey bars also need different parts in order to be assembled.
Nuts and bolts come in various sizes and require different brands of screwdrivers or drill bits to assemble the swing set. They are both large and small, depending on the attachment they are made to fit. Each nut and bolt is specifically designed for a specific job. They also depend on the type of swing set as well – whether the set is wooden, galvanized metal, vinyl or plastic. They must be tightly secured as the set is being assembled, so that the swing set does not come apart while being used, resulting in injuries.
