This is where it is a good idea to buy a canopy for your wood, wicker, metal or plastic porch swing. Also its a good idea to have some sort of cover or shade over all all swing or play equipment that is in your yard to allow some sort of shelter from the harmfull effects of the sun. Being in the garden without shelter from the sun is not a good idea. In most cases you can also purchase canopies in various colours to match the color of your porch swing cushions to go with your plastic porch swing.
